Terms of Service

1. The service

Nano is a platform that connects you with independent partners — restaurants, market sellers, shops, event vendors — and with couriers who deliver their goods. Unless a screen states otherwise, the partner, not Nano, is the seller of the goods and the provider of the service. Nano operates the platform, takes the payment on the partner’s behalf and arranges delivery.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order.
• Your account is personal. Keep your device and one-time codes secure and tell us promptly if you suspect misuse.
• The information you give us must be accurate, particularly your delivery address and contact number.
• We may suspend or close an account used for fraud, abuse of couriers or partners, or repeated policy breaches.
• You can close your account whenever you like from Delete your account. Closing it does not cancel an order already under way or settle what is already owed under these terms.

3. Orders and prices

• Prices, delivery fees, service fees and minimum order values are shown before checkout. The total shown at checkout is the total you are charged, save for weighted items, which are settled at their final weighed price.
• An order becomes binding when the partner accepts it. Until then, we may decline it — for example if the partner has closed, an item is unavailable or the address cannot be served.
• Delivery times are estimates based on live conditions and are not guaranteed.
• Age-restricted goods are delivered only against valid identification, and the courier may refuse the handover if it is not produced.

4. Payment

Payment is taken by card through certified payment providers, or in cash where the partner supports it. Card details are handled by the provider; Nano does not store your full card number. Where a pre-authorisation is placed, any unused amount is released after the order completes.

5. Cancellations, refunds and returns

Cancellation and refund rules, including the return of goods bought through Nano Store and Nano Market, are set out in our Refunds and Returns policy, which forms part of these terms.

6. Your responsibilities

• Be reachable at the delivery address during the delivery window.
• Treat couriers, partner staff and support agents with respect. Abuse ends the order and may end the account.
• Do not use Nano Express to send prohibited items — see the User Agreement.
• Do not attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, overload or circumvent the platform or its security.

7. Promotions

Promo codes and discounts are personal, cannot be exchanged for cash, may be limited in time and scope, and may be withdrawn if obtained or used in bad faith.

8. Intellectual property

The Nano name, logo, software, designs and content are owned by Nano Technologies or its licensors. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the app and website for their intended purpose. Partner names and logos belong to the partners.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory consumer rights.

Subject to that, Nano is liable for the correct operation of the platform, the accuracy of the prices displayed and the delivery service it arranges. Nano is not liable for the quality, safety or legality of goods produced or supplied by a partner, and our aggregate liability arising out of an order is limited to the value of that order, except where the law provides otherwise.

10. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time from the app. We may suspend or terminate access where you materially breach these terms, where required by law, or where continued access poses a security or safety risk. Termination does not affect obligations already incurred.

11. Changes

We may amend these terms as the service develops or the law changes. Material changes are announced in the app before they take effect, and continuing to use Nano afterwards means you accept the amended terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Nano Technologies is established, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence. We ask you to contact [email protected] first — most disputes are resolved there. Otherwise, the competent courts of your place of residence or of our seat have jurisdiction.
